Delete data
What gets deleted
BADSECTOR keeps data on our servers only if you joined the online rankings or switched on usage statistics. Deleting removes all of it, permanently:
- Your online profile and player ID (the anonymous Firebase account)
- Your nickname
- Every result, position and replay on every leaderboard, including daily and weekly archives
- The link to your Google account, if you made one
- The usage statistics sent from your phone, if you switched them on
In the game (fastest)
- Open BADSECTOR and go to PROFILE > ONLINE
- Tap DELETE ONLINE DATA and confirm
- Your profile disappears from the leaderboards at once. Remaining copies, backups included, are erased within 30 days
This needs an internet connection. The game deletes your usage statistics in the same step.
By email
No longer have the game? Email us. Profiles are anonymous, so tell us how to find yours: your nickname and, if you still have it, your player ID from PROFILE > ONLINE. If you linked a Google account, writing from that Google address is enough.
We confirm the deletion within 30 days. Tap below to open a ready-made request:
Opens your mail app. Sent to [email protected].
Data on your phone
Progress, statistics and settings stored on your phone are not on our servers, so we cannot delete them remotely. To remove them, go to Android Settings > Apps > BADSECTOR > Storage > Clear storage, or uninstall the game.
A copy may also sit in your Android backup, which Google keeps in your Google account. You can delete it in Google Drive > Backups.
