Sector codes
Every board has a code. Send it, and a friend plays the exact same sector from the exact same first cell.
Minesweeper rebuilt as a hacking game. Every board can be solved by logic alone, three worlds change everything from the room to the cat, and every game ends with an analysis of where your time went.
Live demo
This is the game’s own engine, running in your browser. Before your first scan it builds a board, then a solver tries to clear it with logic alone. If it can’t, the board is thrown away. Whatever reaches you never needs a guess.
Modes
Five levels, from 9×9 up to 24×30 with 160 ICE.
One board for everyone, one try a day, and a streak to keep alive.
Three minutes on the clock. Clear as many sectors as you can.
A board without edges. ZEN has no clock, RUN ends on the first hit.
Twelve sectors on the network map, each with a briefing and pieces of the story.
Any size and density, no-guess on or off, and sector codes to share a board.
Twelve lessons on three levels, from what a number means to 1-2-2-1 and counting ICE.
Worlds
A world in BADSECTOR is more than a colour swap. It changes the room, the intro, the typeface, the words on screen, the cat’s voice, what lies under the hub and the story you uncover.

NULL lights up a safe cell and the numbers that prove it, then says the rule out loud. You learn the pattern, not just the move. A game played with a hint still counts for you, but it stays out of records and rankings.
A number already touches all its ICE: every other neighbour is clean. Or it has exactly as many covered neighbours as ICE left: all of them are ICE.
Two numbers share cells and one decides for the other: 1-1, 1-2, 1-2-1, 1-2-2-1.
ICE left against covered cells: in the endgame the counter decides.

Every game ends with an analysis. Pauses over four seconds are listed with what you missed: a safe move that was already waiting. Then press REPLAY and watch the whole game again, move by move.

Tell NULL how much you know and it picks the lessons: twelve of them on three levels, each with puzzles built around one pattern. When you are ready, the campaign waits on the network map: twelve sectors that grow harder, each one with a briefing, and pieces of the story hidden along the way.
Every board has a code. Send it, and a friend plays the exact same sector from the exact same first cell.
The cat talks in the hub, comments on your game, falls asleep when you leave it alone and has 25 things to say when you pet it. Or build your own in the creator.
Change colours, board style, glass and effects, then share your version as a single BS4 code.
Eight fragments per world, dropped by rare glitches, campaign sectors and the bottom of the layers.
Swap tap and hold, set the hold time, turn chording, vibration and glitch up or down, reduce motion, pick effect quality.
The whole game plays offline. Online rankings are opt-in and ask for nothing but a nickname.
Under the hub
Swipe down past the hub and the game keeps going: a terminal log, a district gone dead, something that watches. Go one layer too far and the system crashes. Every world has its own bottom: in Telemetry it is sector zero and a collapsing CRT, in Holo the projection folds into a single point.
